Carlisle 103 all out.

James Dawson - 25

AlexRaybould - 22

FOR THE third week running in the North Lancs Premier, Carlisle were involved in a low scoring thriller but failed to hold their nerve as hosts Whitehaven ran out winners by just 10-runs.
Whitehaven's total of 113 was dominated by a fine 74 from opener, Stephen Holliday as Carlisle's Jamaican pro, Derval Green picked up his first five wicket haul. Green's 5-28 an indication of what the all-rounder is capable of.
The only other home batsman to reach double figures was Mohammed Yasin with 13 before he was run out from a fine piece of fielding by Green. Once again, young Carlisle seamer Henry Walker impressed as he finished with 2-33 from 10.2 overs.
In reply, Carlisle needed a solid foundation and a sure start, but between them, veteran Habib Baloch and professional Yasin accounted for the top order as the visitors were left reeling on 27-5.
Alex Raybould, 22, and James Dawson, 25, staged something of a recovery, but Yasin returned to clean up the tail and leave Carlisle tasting defeat for the first time this season.
