Carlisle's batting frailties were exposed once again as they fell to a 58-run defeat to Keswick at Edenside.

Although Carlisle's Jamaican international, Derval Green had the visitors reeling with two early wickets, opener Aaron Davies, 49, and Sri Lankan pro, Geeth Kumara, 38, patiently rebuilt the innings.

Further contributions from Glenn Weightman and Andy Bryson helped Keswick finish on 194, with young Carlisle seamers Henry Walker and Taryn Reay picking up three wickets each.

In reply, Carlisle lost Ben Davidson and Tom Benn cheaply and failed to establish any meaningful partnerships as Keswick continued to take wickets.

Jordan Whinn's 30 was the only individual score of note as Carlisle were dismissed for 136 in the 46th over.
